![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Today I picked it up from his store and the result is amazing: no problem but this kind of work is beyond my knowledge. He did a complete refret and also replaced the worn out nut with a perfect fitting bone nut. I decided that the 2387 CT deserved some TLC and short before Xmas 2019 I passed it over to Pero Ban, a great guitar tech and luthier in our region (74597 Stimpfach, Ortsstraße 8, Phone: +49 7967 700892). The neck is absolutely straight, action low and frets have about 80% left. Here’s a video showing this axe and the great sounding PUs (not me playing).Ĭondition is players grade with a lot of dings & dongs but nothing serious. The guitar is fully original except the “TD-A-PAF”/ Theo Dahlem Pickups ( ) which – AFAIK – were specifically customized for this guitar and sound really awesome. The body is made of ash, the finish is African Korina. Mine is a F78… model, so one of the last made. The 2387 CT is a copy of the ’58 Gibson Flying V and was produced from about 1973 – 1978. ![]()
